19th Annual Bayside Brunch
Bayside Brunch 2018- SUPER HEROES!!
Our love of superheroes may be innate. New research shows that babies are born with a sense of justice and that pre-verbal infants as young as 6 months are drawn to
figures who protect the weak. It's an admirable trait that some of us never outgrow.
Reveal your inner SUPER HERO at Bayside Brunch 2018!! The WHAM! POW!! event of the year for the Des Moines Legacy Foundation, Bayside Brunch has a eighteen
year history of supporting low income seniors and youth in Des Moines through, parks, recreation and senior services. Held at the fabulous Anthonys Homeport
on the Des Moines waterfront, Bayside Brunch is a executive chef champagne brunch with a WOW! list of activities!! Our AVENGERS auctions, RAM raffles, Super
HERO and Super VILLIAN buttons, and SUPER FUN all help raise funds for youth and seniors in our community.

BAYSIDE BRUNCH at Anthony's HomePort
It was a FUN feeding frenzy with friends on Sunday, November 6 as the Des Moines Legacy Foundation hosted their sixteenth annual Bayside Brunch.
The theme this year, Margaritaville, brought out the parrothead and beach bum in all of us. The exquisite champagne brunch buffet hosted by the one
and only Anthony's Homeport on the Des Moines water front, along with our silent auction, and two raffles raised $13,250 for senior programs and
services for the Des Moines/Normandy Park community and $13,546 for Des Moines recreation scholarships for low income youth.
